One of the main advantages when using mobile money is in the fact that the money source is clearly authenticated. The security protocols that validate the money transfer take care about the authentication, authorization, and accounting.

The idea is to take this ability further into the medicine market. 
Our current medicines market mainly takes the following path: the patient gets a subscription (either paper or a digital one) with authorization to buy a specific drug, the patient goes to a pharmacy, is authenticated and is authorized to buy a pack in the nearest amount to the number of pills he needs, and from this point on - the patient carry the pack with him and takes the pills when needed.
Beside the need to carry and remember to take the pill in the right time, the patient normally do not consume all the pills in the pack. This may result in the risk of keeping those dangerous pills at home and is not very economic.

Why not supply a micro-payment method for patients using a vending machine that allows patient to buy pills in a single basis? Using mobile account and mobile payment allows the vending machine to detect who is the patient, to verify his authentication and authorization to get the certain pill and also to select the exact pill which the patient needs.
